Terms of service

matte. is a browser-based photo layout utility. By using the site or purchasing an export pass, you agree to use matte. lawfully and to keep responsibility for the photographs, marks, and text you upload or place into your layouts.

Service

The editor runs primarily in your browser. Image files are used locally for composition and export. Layout settings may be stored in your browser storage so the tool can restore your workspace.

Paid export access

A matte. annual export pass unlocks full-resolution PNG and JPEG export in the browser where the purchase is verified. Billing, invoices, payment methods, and cancellations are handled by Stripe.

Acceptable use

Do not use matte. to violate another person's rights, distribute unlawful material, attempt to disrupt the service, or bypass payment access controls.

Availability

The service is provided as-is. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as needed to maintain the product.
